Park Entrances

We’re here to help you find the park entrance you’re looking for! Lake Cunningham has four entry points to the park. All entrances feature parking and convenient access to the multi-purpose concrete trail. Entrances are open year-round during park hours of 5:00am-11:00pm. The Campground entrance is open seasonally, typically May-October.

Entrance #1 - Marina

Our most popular entrance which features the trademark “lighthouse” the Lake C brand is built around. Entrance #1 offers many amenities for park-goers such as:

  • Boat ramp/boat parking
  • Water equipment loading & unloading zone
  • Access to C Store concessions (Fri & Sat 3-8pm
  • East pedestrian bridge
  • Access to the campground playground
  • Restroom facility
  • Marina
  • Lighthouse
  • Disc golf course
  • Fishing pier

Entrance #2 - Overlook

Entrance #2 features a beautiful “overlook” of Lake C. In our opinion, the best view of the lake can be accessed from this entrance. Some of the other amenities this entrance offers are:

  • 1 Small shelter
  • Grill
  • Enclosed portable restroom
  • Easy access to the trail
  • View of the dam and lake

Entrance #3 - Garvin Rd & N 96th St

Entrance #3 offers many great amenities and is most known for the accessible kayak launch and the beautiful shelter views! Below you’ll find more amenities you’re looking for!

  • Handicap accessible kayak launch
  • Horseshoes (Dave Van Metre Court)
  • Bocce ball court (Dave Van Metre Court)
  • Fishing dock
  • 2 Small picnic shelters
  • 1 Large picnic shelter
  • Grills
  • Enclosed portable restroom

Entrance #4 - North Trailhead Access

Entrance #4 provides convenient access to the north side of Lake Cunningham, making it ideal for those looking to explore the trails, enjoy fishing, or take in a stunning view of the lake from a unique perspective.

Campground Entrance

Open during the campground season, this entrance offers access to our campground patrons. The Campground Entrance features the following:

  • Dump station
  • Freshwater fill station
  • Access to the East C Campground
  • Access to the West C Campground
  • C Store Concessions in the East C (Fri & Sat 3-8pm)
  • Playground

Archery Range Entrance

Featuring a stationary archery range with nine targets and scenic range with eleven 3D lanes. The Lake C archery range is open year-round to the public. Please make sure to check out when archery tournaments take place throughout the year on our events page.

  • Designated for archer use only

Equestrian & Multipurpose Nature Trail Entrance

Lake Cunningham is home to nearly 20 miles of beautiful multipurpose nature trails north of HWY 36 and 96th Street. The trails are open year-round for multipurpose use. We do not offer horse rental services.
